Boston New Grocer Has a Surprising History
U.S. Boston has a new convenience store – grocery store – to-go restaurant, and what is unusual is the surprising history of the owner. Mr. Kun Jin Kim, the owner of the just established K-Market Boston in Dorchester, is a Vietnam vet and the son of a successful restaurateur. His history is not from these soils, however. Mr. Kim got his start in Seoul, South Korea where, for 30 years, his mother ran a restaurant specializing in Korean Kalbi, a delicacy of marinated beef short ribs.
